about me!

I’m so happy you’re here!

I’m Camryn, a 6th-grade math educator and creative professional from Southbury, CT. I recently graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Graphic Communications and a minor in Brand Communications, and I’m excited to bring my creative background and passion for working with students into the classroom. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Elementary Education at Central Connecticut State University.

As a 6th-grade math long-term substitute, I’ve had the opportunity to lead daily instruction, differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs, and create a positive, structured classroom environment. I especially enjoy helping students work through challenging concepts, build problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their ability to succeed in math.

My background in graphic design, video editing, and communications has taught me how to make information engaging, accessible, and visually compelling. I bring that same mindset to teaching by finding creative ways to explain concepts, connect with students, and make learning meaningful.

Outside of the classroom, you’ll find me teaching spin classes, traveling, attending concerts, or reading. Teaching spin has also strengthened my ability to motivate and connect with people, lead groups, and create an encouraging environment, skills I am excited to carry with me into the classroom.

I’m excited to continue growing as an educator and to build a career where I can combine creativity, communication, and a genuine passion for helping students learn and grow.

Let’s connect!!
